The mini sessions will be held on Saturday, September 23 from 8-10am and 3-6pm. Sessions are $125, 15 minutes in length, and you will receive 5-7 images for high resolution download. Sessions are open to families, children, couples, or any combination. You must be an active member of Parent Talk at time of sign up and on the day of the session.

The location will be set at a later date based on the foliage, but will be within a few miles of Needham (most likely Elm Bank, Wellesley College, or similar). Rain date, if necessary, will be September 30.

40% of all session fees will be donated to Parent Talk.

The Process

Sign ups will go live on June 16th at 9am. At that point you will be able to click the below link and choose an available time slot. You will need to provide your name, email, and address. After you sign up you will receive an email with the contract and invoice. The contract needs to be signed and invoice paid within 48 hours, otherwise your time slot will be opened up for others to sign up.

Before the session you will receive tips on clothing/makeup and how to prep for a mini session (15 minutes goes by quickly!), and a questionnaire to help me get to know you better. On the day of the session you will want to show up on time as the time slots are back to back, so we cannot extend your session. Within three weeks of the session you will receive an online viewing gallery where you can download, share, or order prints of your images.

Why do I need to sign up so early?
Fall is the busiest time of year for photographers. Everyone is looking to get new family pictures for their holiday cards. I book my Fall sessions months in advance. This not only helps me plan my time, but it allows you to have your family picture scheduled before the business of summer and before everyone is already booked, and you'll have time to order your holiday cards without stress.

The sign ups are full. Do you have more spots?
Unfortunately there are only 20 spots available. If you would like to book a full session, please contact me. Since you missed the mini sessions I will donate 10% of all session fees for full sessions booked and scheduled before December.

Where can I see examples of your work?
You can see galleries of families, children, babies, and couples here.

Can you photograph just my kids?
Yes! You can sign up for the whole family, just the kids, just you, just you and your spouse, or any combination.

Do I need to be a Parent Talk member?
Yes, you must be an active PT member at the time of sign ups and on the session date. Memberships will be verified.

What if it rains?
If it rains we will use our rain date, which is September 30th.

What should I wear?
After you have signed up I will send you information on clothing choices. 

What if I am late?
Every 15 minutes starts a new family, so if you are late you will get less time for your pictures. If you are 10 minutes late, for example, you will only have 5 minutes. Plan on arriving early!

What if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel and it is at least 30 days before you will be refunded the full $125. If you need to cancel less than 30 days before the event you can open your spot up to other PT members. Unfortunately, if no one can fill your spot you will lose your $125.

Where will the pictures be?
I will choose the location in late August/early September depending on the foliage. Some locations look better if we've had a wet summer, for example. The location will have nice greenery and will be close by. Most likely Elm Bank, Wellesley College, or something similar.

How is this a fundraiser for Parent Talk?
I am excited to partner with Parent Talk to provide families an opportunity for pictures while raising funds for a great organization. 40% of all session fees will be donated to parent talk. So, if all 20 slots are filled, Parent Talk will receive a check for $1000!
If you didn't get a mini session and instead book a full session before December, 10% of session fees will be donated to Parent Talk.
